I would like to personally introduce our organization, The Simeon Connection, affectionately referred to as the TSC, to you. If you have ever heard of the Simeon Career Academy, located at 8147 S. Vincennes Ave. We are the former administrators, teachers, faculty and staff members, parents, and community representatives that have been connected with the school for many years.
As a former connected entity of the school, we came together to maintain our comradery, to socially have fun and support each other with no apparent reason at all other than for having fun. Our general purposes can be stated as follows:
- To continue our influence and maintain relationships with our Simeon family and its students,
- To provide scholarship funding to deserving graduates, especially those who choose to major in education or teacher preparation,
- To maintain a relationship and support system for these graduates while attending college and act as mentors to them wherever needed,
- To enjoy a variety of social outings,
- To share talents and creativity for enjoying life after retirement, and
- To perpetuate the legacy of the Simeon Career Academy of which we are all so proud.
